The Breaking Point
I’ve spent the last decade trying to live a quiet life of serving others, keeping my head down, and loving people well. But recently, something in me broke.
On September 10th, I watched people I deeply love and respect cheer for a man’s death simply because of his Biblical beliefs... beliefs that I also hold. I realized: many of the people closest to me had no idea that the same convictions they call vile and uneducated are the convictions that shape my faith and my life.
For years, I stayed silent. I told myself it wasn’t worth losing relationships over. But silence builds up inside you until one day it spills over. And that’s what happened to me.
I couldn’t stay quiet anymore.
What I Believe
The foundation of everything I believe is simple: the Bible is the authority of my life.
I’ve studied Scripture since childhood. I went to a Christian college. I wrestled with doubt in my rebellious 20s and 30s. I’ve lived as the worst of sinners: a liar, cheater, thief, and swindler- and I thank God daily for His grace.
In recent years, I’ve plunged deeper into understanding how the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation tells one unified story. Context matters. Scripture isn’t a buffet where we pick what tastes best and ignore what challenges us. Just because I don’t want something to be sin doesn’t mean it isn’t.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”— 2 Timothy 3:16
My faith has survived questions, rebellion, repentance, and refinement. And at the end of it all, I still land here: God’s Word is true. Always.
Your Life, Your Relationship with God
Now, I need to make something clear: your life is none of my business.Your relationship with God is between you and Him.
I will treat every person I meet as a child of God, because that’s exactly who they are.
If you don’t want to know what I believe, stop reading here. But if you’re still with me- thank you. And please know: my beliefs are probably not as radical as you’ve been thinking.
Losing a Friend, Finding My Voice
Just weeks ago, I lost one of my dearest friends. We shared everything from prayers and encouragement to advice, laughter, and tears. In the last several years I have prayed over her constantly.
My faith hasn’t changed since the day we met. But hers has. Somewhere along the way, my convictions... the same ones I’ve always had... became offensive. Suddenly, I was labeled a bad person for believing what Scripture says.
That loss has devastated me. But it also clarified my calling.
The Birth of Kingdom Over Party
Kingdom Over Party was born out of heartbreak and out of holy conviction.
I realized that the world doesn’t just need louder Christians; it needs steadfast ones. Believers who refuse to compromise God’s Word to fit the culture of the time. People who will stand firm in truth AND love, even when it costs them something.
We live in a time when people confuse silence for kindness and conviction for hate. But real love speaks truth- not because it’s easy, but because it’s honest.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…”— Romans 12:2
That’s what Kingdom Over Party is about: choosing Christ over culture. Choosing the Gospel over groupthink. Choosing the Kingdom over any political party.
This is a movement of courage- born out of love for God, love for truth, and love for people who need both.
Join the Movement
If your heart beats for truth the way mine does... if you’re tired of staying silent while the world twists Scripture and mocks conviction... then you’re not alone.
Kingdom Over Party exists to encourage, equip, and empower believers to stand firm in faith, to live boldly for Christ, and to put the Kingdom first in every area of life, including politics and culture.
Join the movement. Let’s raise a generation that understands that to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
