Rooted in Christ
Before we engage in the culture around us, we must first be rooted in the One we follow. Our allegiance belongs to Christ and His Kingdom above every political party or ideology.
"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." Colossians 2:6-7
The Cultural Problem
Our political climate is marked by division, outrage, and contempt. Too often Christians mirror the hostility of politics rather than the character of Christ.
"but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so." James 3:8-10
Shaping Culture with Character
Christians are called to engage with the world differently. We can hold strong convictions while reflecting the characteristics of Christ.

As the adolescent girls initiative of Kingdom Over Party, Rooted Rising equips young girls to build deep roots in Christ, develop confidence in their faith, and learn how to stand firm with kindness and courage in today’s world. Through fun, age-appropriate resources and events, we partner with parents to raise girls who know what they believe, why it matters, and how to live it out boldly.
